NYAWERA KIBUKA

Founding Director & CEO

She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with specialisation in Human Resources Management from Trent University, Canada and a Higher National Diploma in Human Resources Management from the Institute of Human Resources Management (Kenya).

She is a PROSCI Change management professional, an experienced and licensed user of SHL psychometric tools, a Professional Organisational Effectiveness Coach, and PRINCE  Project Manager.

She is a HR and Change Consultant with over 14 years experience gained in professional services firms PricewaterhouseCoopers Kenya and KPMG Kenya. Her key areas of experience include change management and project management, organisational development, learning and development and executive search and selection. (residential)

Nyawera has vast experience in leading and delivering change management projects. She has led the development and deployment of change management strategies, change management plans, communication plans and supported roll out of the key change activities within organisations. She has also designed and delivered change management training programs and worked closely with senior management teams to help sensitizes them on their role in the change process.

Nyawera enjoys meeting and getting to know new people and making connections between people. She is a seasoned recruiter focusing on senior level recruitments for organization’s in the private and not for profit sector.

When not with her family, Nyawera can be found buried deep in a good book or enjoying a round of golf..


 


LUCAS MARANGA

Director

He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree (Business Administration/Marketing option) from Daystar University and a Masters in Business Administration from United States International University. He has also recently completed Strathmore Business School’s Owner Manager Program.

He is a member of Events Managers Association of Kenya (EMAK) and Kenya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI).

He is a seasoned businessman who is passionate about business mentorship and new business development. (residential)

He is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Happening Ventures Limited, one of Kenya’s oldest event management firms and has vast experience and knowledge in entrepreneurship, business coaching and mentors new entrepreneurs who wish to venture into business.

He is also an excellent communicator and facilitator and enjoys work with people from all walks of life.

Lucas is passionate about golf, entrepreneurship and mentorship.

 



ANGELA MUCHIRU

Associate

She has a Masters in International Business Administration from United States International University and a Bachelor of Arts from Daystar University.

She is a seasoned HR professional with over 18 years experience spanning both mainstream and HR Consulting. She has in depth knowledge in HR processes including; resourcing, remuneration management, strategic workforce planning, organisation design, performance management, talent management, change management and HR policy development.(residential)

Angela has held senior HR leadership roles in Human Resources and Strategic management. In the financial services sector Angela has been involved in organisational development; taken lead in change programs, culture building programs, recruitment and talent development. Within the manufacturing sector Angela has lead the HR function; with oversight for East Africa and West Africa operations, for an international organisation.

In her consulting experience, Angela has provided advisory services to multilateral organisations, international NGOs and a number of blue chip organisations. Angela has for example led an assignment focusing on design of competency framework and assessment of Country Managers in 24 countries in Africa. She has also has been involved in the design and implementation of a performance management system for a regional NGO, was lead consultant for salary and benefits survey for a multilateral organisation. Angela has advised an intergovernmental organisation on appropriate organisation design, salary structuring and compensation benchmarking.

EDWIN KIMEMIA

Account Executive

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication and Public Relations.

Edwin is specialized in communication and marketing. He is well acquainted with social media networks management and provides communication support to client teams.

Edwin handles communication and marketing of Cedar Consulting service offering, and develops social media content.

He has been involved in client account management, social media content creation, marketing and sales of Prosci® training programs and consultancy services. He has also provided support for various recruitment and selection assignments.

Edwin enjoys spending time with family, photography and fitness.
